I am the lab manager of the Animal Flight Group. I completed my Ph.D. in the field of conservation planning at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology in 2015 under the supervision of Prof. Yohay Carmel. In my Ph.D. I examined different approaches for selecting conservation priority areas under future uncertainty in urban development and vegetation dynamics. I did my M.Sc. in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem under the supervision of Prof. Ran Nathan on population genetics in an Aleppo pine (Pinus halepensis). My main research interests are spatial ecology and conservation biology.
I am married to Orit and a father to Klil and Tsuf.
