I received my bachelor’s degree in Meteorology from the Hebrew University. During this period, I was exposed to the world of birds as a guide in the Jerusalem Bird Observatory and became fascinated with birds. For my master’s degree in Ecology and Zoology at the Tel Aviv university I studied the breeding of Terns in Israel. In my PhD I decided to combine my two fields of interest and currently I am researching the nocturnal migration of birds in Israel through the combination of radar measurements and meteorological data.
