In my PhD, I use multi-sensor technologies to study the trophic interactions of insectivorous bats. I focus on the ecological factors that shape prey diversity in the diet of bats, their role as natural enemies of agricultural pests, and their contribution to ecosystem services. I am also interested in developing new technologies for monitoring insect activity and biodiversity, and I take part in several initiatives aimed at advancing the insect monitoring toolbox. My study is co-supervised by Dr. Liora Shaltiel-Harpaz from the Northern Agricultural R&D Department at MIGAL.
