Yohay Wasserlauf

I’m a PhD student, studying the Israeli population of the Asian Houbara Bustard. I completed my undergraduate and master degrees in Tel Aviv University, studying the Egyptian Nightjars in the Dead Sea region.

My current study is focused on the ecological and conservation aspects of this species, for helping this sensitive population.

I’m a birdwatcher since 2001 and a bird ringer since 2003, currently running a ringing station in central Israel.
